The sBotics event system, accessible via the sBotics Events website, is the central hub for sBotics simulator competitions. Here, teams can register, participate in friendly matches, and compete in official events, always following the specific guidelines of each competition (such as OBR).
On competition day, the platform becomes an essential tool for robot calibration. Competitors can check the lighting conditions for each round, allowing precise adjustments to their programs. For early preparation, the arena time can be changed to simulate different lighting conditions.
During the scheduled period for each round, the team leader must access sBotics Events, log in, click on “Compete,” select the round, and generate a unique code. This code is non-transferable, and if lost, the team must forfeit the round, as a new code cannot be issued.
After calibration and program verification, the competitor — logged into the simulator with the leader’s account — enters the code into the sBotics competition module and accepts the terms. A confirmation screen displays crucial information: competition name, round, lighting, adjustment time, team name, and robot program.
Once confirmed, no further changes to the arena or program are allowed. The team has a few seconds to start the routine; otherwise, the round will automatically begin.
Scoring is automatically calculated by the simulator and sent to the servers for result publication. Once a round ends, participation is no longer allowed, and absent teams receive zero points.
Attention: Connection issues or computer failures during the round will result in a discarded score, with no possibility of retrying. The round’s closing time must be strictly observed, as late submissions will not be counted.
